It’s that time of year when we all dread and fear getting terribly sick!
In my twenties I didn’t worry about paying attention to my immunity or taking my mother’s advice on how to protect myself from feeling physically ill…Now that I am full blown in my career and in my thirties (I can’t believe said it! Ouch.), I tune my ear to the what, where, when and how.
However, I am not a fan of the flu shot. So this conventional novelty is not of any use to me. In general, I do not like needles therefore, you can see my dilemma. This year I’ve decided that eating well and exercising must be the top 2 essentials for good health, and protecting my immunity.
If you’re like me choosing to eat well, when there are multiple options on the menu, gets harder and harder. Although, ordering off of a ‘smoothie menu’ simplifies things. All the sudden, eating right becomes much easier!
I decided to use fruits that carry:
– Amino acids
These are all essentials in protecting and boosting immunity. I’ve found that these are best to use when warding off the common cold. Coupled with my favorite beauty elixir, youthH2O, I just power boosted protecting my immune system.

Immunity Booster Smoothie
1/4 Dried Cranberries
1/2 Cup Blueberries
1/2 Cup Strawberries
1 TBSP Organic Nectar
1 Small Apple, Cored
